Hope Estate Winery, Hunter Valley appoints Survival Solutions

Survival Solutions has just been appointed as the fire service provider for Hope Estate Winery, home of Channel Nine's 'Farmer Wants a Wife' and open air concerts with John Farhnam.
Hope Estate have just completed a purpose built 19,000 capacity outdoor amphitheater with great entertainment acts, such as Chicago, America and Peter Frampton scheduled to perform later this year.
The Great Cask Hall at Hope Estate is one of the most impressive Barrel Room’s in the country and one of the Hunter Valley’s most popular function venues. Part of the working winery, the Great Cask Hall is surrounded by 59 enormous wine filled casks (4,500 litres in each). Michael & Karen Hope have entrusted the huge responsibility of ensuring the fire systems required throughout the winery are functioning correctly and will, if required, help protect the the staff and thousands of visitors to the winery.
The fire systems located throughout the winery are extensive, including hundreds of exit and emergency lights, fire hose reels, extinguishers and a substantial fire hydrant system.
The fire hydrant system is a combined system supplying the fire hose reels and hydrants from four hundred thousand litres of stored water in two on site tanks.
The hydrant system operates on a combination of electric and diesel water pumps, which function when the hydrants or fire hose reels operate.
Survival Solutions' team of experienced technicians, electricians and plumbers combined to carry out successful and comprehensive inspections and services to all equipment at Hope Estate to ensure all staff and visitors have the highest level of protection available.
